Overview
The Kiku-mon Gate (South Gate) of Koriyama Castle was brought over and reassembled here as the San-mon Gate (the only remaining features of Koriyama Castle). It is the family temple of the Yanagisawa clan, which was moved here when Yanagisawa Yoshiyasu (who also appears in the epic story Chushingura)’s son Yoshisato was transferred from Kofu.
